In Vietnam, a new cohort of technicians has gained valuable certification in Advanced Golf Course Irrigation.
Online training was facilitated by Rob Weiks, South East Asia Area Manager – Golf in June 2021.
Five staff from Hoiana Shores Golf Club and seven from Rain Bird’s Vietnam Distributor Hoang Tram attended the three-day training program designed to ensure that staff installing and commissioning the Rain Bird IC System are factory trained and certified.
Using a combination of hardware and computer software, certification is detailed and comprehensive, covering IC System™ functionality, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Rob explained, “This training is essential and part of Rain Bird’s ongoing commitment to the South East Asian market and quality of customer service. It aims to provide technicians with the core skill set and knowledge required. Everyone who attended appreciated the level of detail involved”.
