Two informative events for Italian golf clubs were held at Argentario Golf Club and Riviera Golf Resort in late September and early October, attracting attendees from several clubs in Emilia, Tuscany, Lazio and other Italian regions.
Both days were jointly organised with a John Deere branch and golf dealers. Rain Bird combined forces with Italian distributor Scarabelli, and both companies gave presentations highlighting their products and services. Attendees could opt for workshop sessions during the day, focussing on irrigation solutions, machinery, seeds, and fertilisers.
After workshop sessions, some participants took part in a 9-hole tournament while others took advantage of the opportunity to discuss their current challenges and find out more about the latest Rain Bird products and services. Both enjoyable and successful events concluded with a prize-giving for tournament winners.
Given what have been difficult and uncertain times for Italian clubs, feedback was very positive, giving attendees a welcome opportunity to ask questions about Rain Bird training, Global Service Plans, and field support available in Italy.
